I figured this was a thread long overdue! If there is one piece of equipment that has a huge variety it is tents. seems everyone is making them some are great some not so great. Some are fairly inexpensive some come with their own mortgage! The one I just tested this past weekend is the Escape 5 Person Turbo Tent by Black Pine. Here is a link to what I have.

sweet tents!
i would love to get the 5 man, even at 28lbs.
the problem i have is with the site itself. dude they have all the stats on the tents but no price guide.
since you've tested the 5 man, do you know the price of it?
and was it as roomy as it states? and was it as easy to set up as it says?

I had it set up in about 5 minutes. The price was $299.00 if you have an air mattress the roominess isn't there. but you can fit the amount of people they say. However, there isn't a lot of room for the gear.
I like the tent a lot. I got mine at Costco.
