Stand by power

I have too much need for 220 power to go full off grid solar but if all h..l happens the Jackery portable power unit looks like a way to keep some lights and maybe refrigerator on. What size do I need and what size solar panel to match it?

I just looked up the Jackery portable power unit. My opinion is that it would be fine as a portable unit providing limited power needs. But you could build your own unit for much less, and with more power. Just need a couple solar panels, a battery bank, charge controller and an inverter. Just calculate your expected needs and size your components to match. Its really pretty simple.
