Hygiene is every bit as important as First-Aid in fact the two should be synonymous with one another and should be treated as such.

Riding off the back of Silent Earth post 'Health & Hygiene Tip we should adopt now' http://doomsdayprepperforums.com/index.php?threads/health-hygiene-tip-we-should-adopt-now.7082/ One of the books I strongly recommend for the First-Aid library is the US Army 'Unit Field Sanitation Team FM 4-25.12 (FM 21-10-1)' The book has a slough of information and should be a mandatory book for the preppers library.

important as hell!!!!

despite that we took hygiene very seriously, when I had my ambulance training,I still managed to get a nasty stomach virus,it swept me off my feet in no time, how I got it,still don't know,as I used gloves and hand sanitizer, washed my hands, maybe I got from the train coming home...but you are to no use if you shit your self every 10 minutes
