There are not enough teats on Uncle Sam for all the Europeans to suck on. Cut them loose. The US needs to get out of NATO and its problems. Let the Europeans grow up.

Agreed. Europe never would have been able to afford Socialism if it hadn't been for leaning on America's military for defense. Of course they still went broke, but not until they altered the minds of their people into entitlement whores.

Jup. They fought togehter. The US delivered a lot of money and gear to the soviet union to fight the soldiers of the third Reich, which the US-banksters financed to increase might and force. They are all playing just the game of money.

The role the US actually plays is also (imho) just homemade. Insinsting on beeing the number 1 country in the world means to keep the others short. This they did with Nato also.
To join Nato, which once had a active opponent, means the big american war machine is the protector of the "free world". (Which means the rest of the world has to be bad or devilish)
When the economical trouble entered US soil (or got mentionable) the shouts out of the white house broke loose that the rest of Nato should deliver more (troops, money, gear). But over here there are no warloving people. Sadly especially the Germans are told (don´t ask by whom) and taught to be bending buckling pazifists. A lot of our people carry this in their hearts and minds. What response was expected?

I don´t get why Finnland want´s to join that construct of moneyeating warloving politicans called Nato. Fear, energetic safety or the hope for peace is no logic argument. The Finns are the only country throughout europe who can protect the lives of all the citizens in bunkers. They did their homework. Why should the bad russian enemy attack there and bite it´s teeth out?

I´d like to see Nato dissolve. Unfortunatley it seems to end in a big flash or something else likewise destruktive.

Illini I’m not exactly sure what you mean by the the American staying behind to fight the commies after WW1. There were plenty communists trying to overthrow Germany after WW 1. But that was something that German storm troopers and right wing groups overcame. The only other place I can think of in that time period would be the allied expeditionary force that supposedly went to help the white army to fight the Bolsheviks in Russia. As to America fighting in other conflicts that they have. Some good some bad. As to KGB Putin . He be ex KGB now. Just think of Saul on the road to Damascus he now be known as the Paul. People do change : )
