pro's and con's of body armour,when to wear and when not..

I wouldn't mind getting an armor insert for my bug out bag pack, or some actual light vests for the family. We already have old school battle helmets, and post SHTF, they'd be good to have on in an alert situation.

As another said though, no plans to fight LEOs or soldiers. If raiders, then I'm more likely to try and make a deal (with an equal or larger force) unless we have to fight to the death.
