Probably a grill sized tank as gennys tend to use a decent amount of fuel.

A lot of that depends on the load your genny is running. Mine runs at almost idle on small loads, conserving fuel, and starts sucking more when I turn on the big things like heat, water heater or stove. Also, remember you can cycle it on/off as needed. Fire it up every few hours to let your fridge/freezer recover then shut her down for a while.
