One of my favorite episodes of TZ is The Shelter. Everyone knows the doctor has built a bomb shelter in his basement. The all make fun of him. Then there is an emergency and he locks himself and family in and the neighbors try to get in, turn on each other to the extent that there is no going back when they find out it wasn't a UFO. The point is that the friends and neighbors end up being a larger threat than the original. It's amazing that even the Liberals who are tweeting about the TZ marathon, tend to agree that the unprepared needed to have been.
Most are saying, "that's why you always keep your preps to yourself". Maybe people are awakening to the dangers of a shtf situation.
