Agree mostly, but I came of age in an era when Planned Parenthood clinics were being firebombed with Molotov cocktails.

I said the same thing back then: " Protest, but don't destroy."

The answer is that these fundementalists viewed themselves as the equivalent of the French Resistance . . . who were civilians who were blowing up and killing the Nazi occupiers during WWII.

As a Jew (and as a human being), I would like to believe that I would have been blowing things up with the Resistance during WWII.

The only question is how I should avoid the (reasonable) suggestion that I'm a hypocrite when I say that people shouldn't firebomb abortion clinics . . . or stage violent protests because cops wantonly kill people when they are the "wrong" skin color?

Kevin, wide spread searching out of a certain population to torture and murder them all is MUCH different than one person having been killed. You CAN look at your wanting to stage violent protests as the right thing to do and not as hypocritical.

Very sad situation. Don't get me wrong, I know deep down there are still good cops and sheriffs everywhere. However, many of our law enforcement face a lack of training and mental health issues. The majority are fresh out to high school and a little college degree. This may contribute to poor judgment and power trip syndrome.

But, the burning and looting WOW!! that's even more stupid.

Its easy to claim racism and murder . Notice at least one of the Cops was black . The kneeling on the neck was a evil and cowardly act . If You step back and study the situation . It wasn't racist it was Police brutality . No Police Officer wants to deal with the death of a detainee . Here's what happened in My opinion . When You study and train in the " tactical Operations " world You frequently run into the self proclaimed highly trained Operators that say Yhey know all the pressure points and human anatomy and can put someone down with one hand kind of stuff . Just like the U.S Military Special Forces that practice choking each other out .
So They had the Guy cuffed and was taken Him to the car , off camera something took place to cause Them to put the Guy on the ground so this one Cop thought He would apply pressure to the jugular until He went unconscious . Probably has done that many times before . Knowing well that it can cause brain damage and blood clots . He wasn't choking Him and knew if the Guy could talk He could breathe . He wanted to choke Him out to show off His skill for His buddies . Classic hands in pockets to apply full weight watching where He placed His knee . No One there expected a death but They didn't care about other complications like brain damage . So The Officers played a stupid game and killed Somebody so They now should face the consequences .

I think that cop and those who assisted him is in a minority. I know a lot of law enforcement (some are family members) and they are NOT like that. Yes, they can and will use force if needed but that is something against their nature. I realize there are some really bad cops out there and love the job just for an opportunity to push people around but hopefully those are a minority and will be weeded out quickly because the became too aggressive.

Yes, these cops went too far and need to be punished. As I understand, they have been fired and now the one causing the death needs to be held accountable. But, I am sure there is another side to this story. I have only heard one side, so far.

Did you see where they actually arrested the owner of the shop for defending it?? It is hard for me to believe that in America, where we have the Constitution and Bill of Rights that a person can get charged with murder for defending themselves! Makes me sick

Looking at the news today the "protesters" were all stealing; tv's, cell phones, tennis shoes and booze. I believe the cops were wrong and should be punished, but this demographic will use any excuse to act like jungle animals and burn and loot.

Not only that, but when asked they are saying it is “owed to them because they shopped there”!!! I put the blame for this type of attitude solely on the Dems.

If I had been one of the other cops on the scene, I would have told the guy, "Hey Derek, get up and walk away. You're out of control. Help me save your career." But, they didn't do that, so now they are complicent as well. Serves them right. One bad cop is a murderer. Four bad cops is a death squad. Concerning the riots and burning of buildings, witness the new "food desert". None of those stores are coming back to that area. Ever. They should protest, not burn down buildings. Those rioters will all be complaining about absence of convenient shopping nearby for ten years. Real stupid. One more thing. Notice that it takes a couple days for the riots to start? Takes that long for the Liberals to get there by bus to rial things up.

Yeah I saw that video too. Bottom line he is just a bad cop. Like everything else there are good ones and bad ones. Sometimes hard to tell the difference. Kick him off the force and prosecute him for murder and the ones standing around watching for accessory to the fact. Give the family and community their justice and then ask the hard questions. How did he get through the psych evaluation and how many others are there. Maybe this department needs some shaking up. New chief and superior officers is a good start.
The cop who did the kneeling had been involved in quite a few previous violent altercations (apparently justified) but also had bunch of complaints and reprimands. The other incidents may have been out of his control, but may have affected him. However, it seems he was truly a bad person that somehow was still employed as a cop.

I love seeing the 2A loving black business owners standing guard on their stores.

How many of these rioters have come from other parts of the country and are being paid by Soros.

I saw an ad for crisis actors about 3 weeks ago but can't remember for which city. It would be odd if it was Milwaukee before any of this happened.

This shit has nothing to do with the victim. It's all an excuse for chaos and to hurt the U.S.

That is TYPICAL with a capital T of the type of rabble rousing, trouble making, destabilising insurgency tactics much beloved of Socialists and Communists, dig deep enough and you will find your "" Democrats"" encouraging it indirectly. Perfect example of socialists destabilising a state or nation.
