Magnets hold the blade and velcro-like stuff holds the stones. Not sure what its called but its not normal hook/loop "velcro", they look like mushrooms and both sides are the same. Holds nice and sturdy. Still working on a steel plate with clamps to hold small blades with short heights. Many improvements to make yet.
