Yesterday I bought an ICOM IC-718 at a hamfest. Got the radio home and it was acting very strange. I did a full CPU reset and the radio is working GREAT. Nothing like buying a $670 radio for $200. Think I will add a LDG auto tuner and make this my full power tactical portable rig. Plan to build it into a 20mm ammo box, kind'a a grab and go full power station. I already have a low-power backpack portable station. Will use a 20 meter inverted vee antenna or hamstick antennas.
