Not surprising. I’ve read quite a lot on this hack job. Some seem to think that it may give them super user access. If so, they could I’ll cut us off at the knees pretty easily...
 
I thought all this was recently debunked as rumor?
 
Apple and Amazon have denied that they were affected by any of this, but they use Supermicro servers.

This wouldn’t be for anything more than spying on commerce, but if they built servers that control, say, the power grids of this country, or the communication networks of this country, they could cause a lot of trouble with little effort...
