New chicken coop

Built a new chicken coop, was going to move the old one and realized it needed a bunch of repair, so I decided to build a new one in the new location. The only problem is I built it upside down...

I like it, though where I come from we generally look down on the ground never up to the ground, you live in a very interesting place Rellgar

Nice coop Rellgar. I need to build a new coop for our meat chickens. But I don't think that I'm a good enough builder to build it upside down though.

We would like to expand our chicken yard. They have been in the sa me little corner of the back yard for years now and it is pure mud after a rain storm for days. I would really like to move the chicken house down about 8 ft to bring their hard out some more. The chicken house is an old walk in shed up on concrete blocks that was given to us. It's only about 8'x 4' I think.

I let the meat chickens out of their coop for the first time last night. So far they've only gone about 10 feet from the coop. Right now the meat chickens are temporarily using a 10x16 shed until I can build a permanent structure. They should be ready for butcher in 3-4 weeks. I can almost taste them now.
