I had an abscess removed from my leg last week. The dressing they used (and I am continuing to use) is a clear moisture barrier.
Works great - you can shower with it. Easy to apply, and very easy to remove - just peel it away slowly.
I'm definitely going to be getting a supply of them for our FAKs
They come in 2 sizes. 4 x 4.5 and 2 x 2. Amazon carries them ($28 for 50 of the 4 x 4.5)
