When it comes to science versus social justice, social justice wins hands down.
That’s the lesson from one Oregon County, where a directive requiring all residents 12 and over to wear masks in indoor settings outside the home or outdoors when they will be near others includes one glaring exception that has nothing to do with “social distancing” or coronavirus infection.

“People of color” get a pass.

In coastal Lincoln County, a directive issued by the health department Wednesday specifically exempts non-Caucasians (referred to as "people of color") from wearing masks required of all other county residents if they “have heightened concerns about racial profiling and harassment due to wearing face coverings in public.”

So for Lincoln County health officials, possibly groundless concerns among some residents about the possible perceptions of others trump the need for gear all other county residents must wear to prevent a potentially deadly infection from spreading.

Americans for the most part are law abiding folks but if the law fails to deal with the thugs, then the nearest tree will work too. The BLM have watched too many old western movies. The bad guys did not tree the towns. The Big Bad Motorcycle gangs did not ride rough shod over the citizens. The real story is, if the law could not handle the situation, the good citizens dealt with it, in a very permanent manner. Placerville, Ca was originally known as "Hang Town" for the swift justice the citizens handed out to the low life. Right now the BLM has only caused trouble in safe havens, Democratic controlled cities. If they are stupid enough or arrogant enough to move out of those safe havens into red areas, then they will learn the meaning of majority rule and if they are real lucky, the local law will get them before the good citizens.
