I am inclined to agree with him.

Although whom is wealthy is a matter of ones perspective. If you are homeless or of a much lower socioeconomic class, then that middle class family of 4 in a sub-burb would look wealthy to you.

Would TPTB survive such a revolution here in America? If they were seen as the source of the masses ire?

If you're comparing the revolutionaries in China to those rioters/protesters in American this last year (BLM and Antifa), then they did cross the line when they went after Pelosi. Remember when one of her houses in San Francisco had the garage door graffittied? She was also working on being viewed as "one of the people" by showing off her fancy ice cream in her fancy freezer. Our liberal govt has turned away from viewing Antifa and BLM from bad guys and the racist destroyers that they are. As long as they don't make our govt look bad. Let's just bend a knee in congress and wear some weird scarf thing to "show" that we're with them.
I don't think it solved anything at all in China. Look at where they are just one generation later.
Communism doesn't stop until everyone but the elites in charge are equally poor and starving. Socialism is the road to get there.

Empires rise and fall by those who are not happy with contents and the distribution of the power from within. Kill the king, kaiser, czar, pres, dictator, mob leader or the pope...just work your way up and you will finally realise that the head which wears the crown is quite uneasy and short lived...well fed, wealthy, warm, but still uneasy for losing the same comforts it stole from another head wearing the crown... rather have my bread in peace than a steak in fear...Gary

The Chinese Cultural Revolution was appropriated by the people, it was rural, and anti-intellectual. Pol Pot amplified this and 2 million people died in Cambodia. The Left in the US violently demonstrated against the Vietnam War, a war on a communist country, but never said a word about Pol Pot killing 2 million people in his communist country.

I am hoping for an anti-leftist-elite revolution in this country with no truce or peace treaty or quarter. Absolute victory or death.
