Many years ago I was looking to buy a house and was confronted with the mildly amusing situation of not having the necessary documentation. By documentation I mean I didn't have a credit history, as in, I always had money and never needed credit. I had enough cash to buy the home without a loan but part of the sales process needed to involve checking my credit history! Classic example of the bureaucratic system where logic goes out of the window. The solution was I would take out a loan of €15,000 buy the home and then immediately pay back the €15,000.

Fast forward 15 years and it seems I am unable to provide proof of my existence to a satisfactory level. I have a passport, I have a social security number, I have a drivers license. I have a bank account. Apparently this isn't enough. I need to show a utility bill for either gas, electricity or water. Great! These are all in my partners name and we split the bills equally at the end of the month. God knows what would happen if I was totally off grid.

While invisibility is the goal of many peppers, and to some extent I am pleased this is also bloody annoying.

I had the same problem when buying my house, seems the more debt you have, the more money you can borrow. I always bought old cars for cash (and had less problems with them than my newer car now) never had a credit card or taken out a loan. Debt is modern slavery.

State sponsored control mechanism, encourage the masses to take on debt, credit cards, mortgages, car finance etc, knowing that they are far less likely to revolt or go on strike or protest because they need to work all hours to pay their debts.

The trouble is the masses dont have a clue how to budget, they must have that wide screen tv, the latest mobile phone and at least 2 foreign holidays in the sun every year, so everything goes on the credit card, they have never heard of the saying "saving for a rainy day" and are heavily in debt, therefore they have no funds to fall back on, they live from pay cheque to pay cheque(or rather bank transfer).

Its a scam against the common people. The central banks and mortgage companies are a huge scam! They provide what exactly? It costs them what exactly? They use there own money and assests in the mortgage process how? Once you answer those questions, you will know its a scam.

Encouraging debt...student loan debt, credit card or mortgage debt, and then politicians on the left use these problems. Biden has said he would eliminate all student loan debt. The 2030 plan is to allow all debt to be erased as long as you give up your right to own anything. This would only sound good to the heavily indebted socialist, and not to the citizen who has worked very hard to not have debt in the first place.

I worry the banks, all banks, will try using this "force majeure" she speaks about in banking law: . Deborah Tabares is out of California and much of her research is focused on California, but I have been following her for several years now and this gal digs up some good information that pertains to the entire country as well. Her website is StopTheCrime. net. What a handy tool for stealing everything we own for the 'wealth distribution' the Socialists/Communists/Globalists want!

I figured out how to game the system on credit card debt and credit ratings.

1) Make a big purchase with a credit card that is less than 30% of your available credit.
2) Transfer the balance to another credit card using one of the promotional zero interest deals.
3) Pay it off monthly with large payments several times the minimum payment.

Presto! Stellar credit history without paying a cent in interest. Every time you make a payment that is more than your minimum, that goes down as a "better than minimum" payment. That is important because your credit score is meant to demonstrate that you can make payments regularly. Every time I've done this they raised my credit limit. I have an insane amount of available credit, even though I am retired and do not have a job. At the moment I am at zero balance. The house is paid off because I went with a 15 year mortgage that resulted in painfully high mortgage payments while I was working, but was paid off before I retired.

Exactly what we did over the years, Doc. And one other point.............never EVER close out a credit card as that immediately causes a credit score hit. Leaving a zero balance on a card for a long time is no problem. The issuing business closing it for inactivity is a better course of action to maintain credit score stability.

I never bother about my credit score and havent got a clue what it is.
the credit card is only used for online purchases, never leaves the house and is paid off in full each month.
I use a debit card for supermarket shopping- all supermarkets only accept card payments during the pandemic, only my local corner shop and the weekly market accepts cash these days.
I have no debts of any kind.

I had a similar problem when I moved. I stayed at first with my brother and couldn't get a DL in my new state since everything was in his name. Of course driving with an out of state DL for more than 90 days is illegal. Fun catch-22. Fortunately it was nearly time to renew the lease so I got my name on it, and they accepted a paycheck stub as another proof of residence. So I was able to get the new DL. For somethings, though, it has to be bills, etc, and often they won't accept cable bills. Well what about for people who live in apartments where utilities are included? I guess they are out of luck. This whole prove identity, prove residence, prove this, prove that. . . They want to be able to control everything and everyone.

A friend of mine with a perfect driving record pays 3x what I do (I have two vehicles and two drivers, one with a history of accidents, he has just him and one vehicle - same provider) for car insurance. When he pushed for a reason why, he was told he didn't have credit. When he asked how credit applies to a prepaid service, they had no answer for him. Credit means interest, interest paid to the rich in control of all of this.

Funny stuff, kinda. Rush was talking about this sort of thing yesterday on his show, folks calling in stating needing proof of identity to do things.

Was at the Dollar Store, show DL to buy wine, I'm 63 and gray hair, obviously old enough to buy booze.
To vote for the highest office in the land.....no ID required, go figure.

Read that Mexico requires ID to vote, can't understand but know the reason so many are against voter ID.

Buy something that is our right to buy(2nd A) all kinds of ID needed. Things that some folks value are so out of whack.

Rant over.

A few years ago I was shopping in Tampere and went to buy some shoes from a major international retailer. Got the size I needed, tried them on, fitted well, went to the till and the sales staff asked for my social security number for ID. I asked why they needed that. She said it was company policy for all purchases over 50€. I declined to buy the shoes and took my business elsewhere.

actually the opposite should be true >>> mail boxes are rifled and utility bills stolen at certain times of the month - they sell a set of bills to get their hands on other valid ID like a driver's license ....

I've been at the DMV when some of these grubby miscreant types are there trying to get ID - the DMV gal should be fired for such obvious lack of oversight - handing out a state certified ID like it's nothing - first step toward royally screwing the REAL PERSON and a host of ID fraud crap to clean up ....
