I know about the drop bears, but what the heck is a toggle snake? DuckDuckGo hasn't even heard of them.
when on exercises out bush, you tie your leg to a tree with "toggle rope" to stop you being dragged off by a toggle snake. The rope is resistant to their saliva that can eat through most rope - the last major Ex with your Army/Marines we lost a few who thought we were joking - they won't advertise it though - causes too much fear, and would put the joint military exercises in jeopardy.

Oddly enough I started prepping by preparing a car kit. I was a traveling Salesman, and was often hundreds of miles from home. The car kit was the first venture into 72 hour kits, and that was longer ago than I care to remember. Almost all of our wives think we are nuts, so you are in good company.
It has been a couple of months. How are you coming with your car kit?
