Been prepping for a couple of years with disgust from wifey.
Getting ready for anything, war, collapse, EMP.
Basically have food and med preps but looking for ideas on bug out locations here in OZ.
Just networking to gain further knowledge and ideas.
Sick of Australian gun laws! :)

I have done extensive research into end of world INCH (global apocalyptic event) places to bugout to in Australia. There are plenty of abandoned mining villages in all states, then I started looking at limestone ares that have plenty of cave systems, my current number one spot is Clarke Island Tas. Apparently has only one resident, plenty of rabbits, fishing wood etc... I am sure goats would work there as well. I am thinking big scale here. I am considering a trip there end of the Year. Ferry to tas then kayak or take small boat. I have scouted out other places as well, but keep them to myself. Let me know if this is the kind of BoL that you are looking for!!

Topography.
82-square-kilometre (32 sq mi), A prominent feature of Clarke Island is a central plateau that rises 110 metres (350 ft). This inland highland provides a limited water catchment from which water flows directly to the sea.[18] The highest elevation point is 206 metres (676 ft), located on a northwestern point of the island.[1]To the East of the Island are a collection of white beaches in the Rutherford Cove area.

Welcome from Tennessee . I know nothing of Your current situation but I work on turning My Home into a self sustaining Homestead and bug in rather than bug out if needed . No logistics envolved .
