I talked to a convenience store owner today. He stopped taking EBT from the welfare bums when he found out that one of his regular customers is pulling in $7,000 a month in welfare money from the state.

Generational welfare and long term government assistance for working age people needs to stop, give a person one year and if they can’t pull themselves up by their boot strings , kick em to da curb. Not every member of a family has medical or physical disability . pull up your darn pants, grow a spine , get a job , be a productive part of society .we need term limits on everything including the government, state and federal and everything in between. They tried that in Kalifornia. It was called a Welfare to Work Program.

What a joke! I had one of those welfare bums ‘working’ for me. She called in sick 2-3 days a week, and she complained about every work assignment that she was given. She also did everything possible to create dissension between me and my other employees.

Needless to say that program died a quick and quiet death.

To me there is nothing more cruel than taking (stealing) money from one working person and giving it to someone who doesn't work. For any reason.

Being a hvac contractor I can tell you for sure that common sense is definitely not as it used to be, some have it and some do not. Trying to reason with the ones that don’t is like talking to a brick. that being said, after being in business since 1997 I have started to cull the ones that cause me repeated problems, I guess my patience is growing short these days.

They're parasites. When I was breaking my back working two jobs and paying my way through college my friends were slack lining over some river and collecting unemployment and welfare. Whatever jobs they did they got paid in cash. The last part I don't mind if it wasn't coupled with the welfare.
