Saw a news report where home in fla. Survived hurricane Ian but did not survive the fire from their electric vehicle parked in their garage...multiple reports of electric cars in Fla that caught fire from getting wet during hurricane Ian.
Thats caused by salt water corroding and contaminating the battery packs!

Some dealers want $80k for some used vehicles!
2016 4Runners are going for $10K more that what we bought ours for! It is absolutely nuts!

Meanwhile, Ford has a parking lot full of partially finished pickups due to the chip shortage, that is so large, you can see it from space!

WHO in their right mind is going to pay $80000 for any type car>>??? NOT going to be ME!!!
Of course it is possible to spend $80,000 on a new vehicle, but you don't have to. A new F250 XL Super Duty regular cab starts out at $44,000. If a person wants all the electronic bells and whistles and all the other nonsense, the price goes up from there.

The only problem is, that new F250 XL Super Duty is sitting unfinished on a lot in Kentucky waiting for a computer chip.
