Mal Zuid Afrikaner - still worried about communism, what happened to the "swart gevaar" Black danger!!

I think socialism and the welfare states are what is going to take the world down financially then the rest follows.

Heard on the radio today the Putin was nominated the most powerful person on the planet with German chancellor second and US President third on the Forbs list.
Yellen 7th till she raises interest rates and looses all power. http://www.forbes.com/sites/davidewalt/2015/11/04/the-worlds-most-powerful-people-2015/
Yes we still need to fear (Hammer and Sickle) and respect the enemy and not be over confident.

The "Black Danger" and the "Red Danger" is one and the same, the ANC is leaning more towards Communism than ever before, not to mention the EFF, they will turn this country into a "Communist State", they are making more and more deals with China and Russia and cutting ties with Western Powers, negating on deals made with America. Refusing to compli with international law, regarding the arrest of African Presidents wanted for serious human rights violantions. So ye if you want to consider him "Mal" (crazy) thats fine, but time will tell. Sounds to me that you were a former Zuid Afrikaner as well? If you were, then what motivated you to leave this country?

I bugged out in 2006 for the usual reasons, crime, security, affirmative action, corruption..
South Africa is broke like most developing countries (The US is also broke - but they can print money), I actually agree with a lot of the article that communism is a way for current black leadership to enforce dictatorship.

The only reason why I say he is 'mad' (I call everybody mad - it is my mantra) is that if I read an article in the paper from the 1970" it would read the same - same propaganda the same fears. Nothing changed in 50 years - it is a regurgitation of the old apartheid rhetoric - stuck in limbo - no one has been able to move on. It is like a slow moving train wreck which the outcome has been known for decades, the journalist still think that writing articles like that is going to change something.

The main reason why I left RSA was apathy - no one prepared to do anything, now the USA finds themslefs in the same situation - Republicans - pure apathy\stagnation\numbness and the USA is going down and going to take the world with them. Large parts of the world has already gone down.

See my posting here and the comments I got. http://www.doomsdayprepperforums.com/index.php?threads/the-new-budget-deal.6500/#post-78961
It is sad to see RSA down the tubes all my living family still stay there, why I have not figured it out, but it is a forgone conclusion - Zimbabwe style farm and business invasions, nationalizing assets like the mines is just a matter of time. Hence the need to prep and perhaps bug out. STEKTE - PEACE

Staying put, yes we probably are a bit "Mal", unfortunately many poeple that would like to move to a "Safer Place" doesn't have the means, the others are probably so positive about the future they are wearing shades, unfortunately when those shades are going to come off, reality is going to smack them real hard. Leaving SA for those reasons a very sane option [emoji106] . Whats your main motivation for prepping over there? I do have some family members in Aus and NZ.

Australia does not have the same level of violence and aggression one sees in RSA and now the USA with their race riots and every second guy walking around with an armory of guns.
I prep for a few reasons scriptural prophecy of the last days as the world is wicked and and about to self destruct. The Romans, Greeks, Babylonians, Mongolian Mongrels, Ottoman Empire etc.. all thought they were superior and invincible but became corrupt and their kingdoms violently destroyed. Yes many think this time it is different!! No country in the world that has ever printed money has had a good result the US, European Union, China Japan etc all over their heads in debt and am expecting a catastrophic economic collapse where a bank holiday is declared for + 6 month then the rioting and looting start.

Australia 6years ago had no debt we are now 40% GDP debt and have one of the largest private debts in the world and more than half the country lives on very generous gov welfare and free medial aid. The same for most western countries. Gov are trying desperately to cut back on social spending but the voting power of the welfare recipients keep the status quo. It is simply not sustainable. You talk about communism in RSA - which is basically a social system - it is already deeply entrenched in the so called western countries.

Australia does have so good things going for it - net exporter of food and a population of only 23million and almost the size of the USA (exclude Alaska) that has 320Mill populaiton. Australia has a strong petroleum industry but still imports most of it's fuel, as refineries have been closed down - basically only have 2-3 weeks of fuel supplies, all the fuel comes from Singapore -anything happen in the asian region Australia will shutdown within a week. To some extent Australia is getting like America.

I can talk about potential issues all day will give another few quick examples: of how modern processing has put the entire world at risk and the world food reserves are at historic lows.
In the USA "About 35 million cattle are slaughtered in the U.S. annually by 60 major beef-packing operations processing around 26 billion pounds of beef. Four firms control over 80 percent of all the beef slaughtered." Some of these slaughter houses process up to 29,000 cattle a day. Meat is distributed to all of America by rail and road, if the distribution system is disrupted everything falls over very quickly. http://www.hcn.org/issues/43.5/catt...-economic-squeezes/the-big-four-meatpackers-1

Robotics +50% of all jobs will be redundant in ±5years. Australia now has driver-less mining trucks, train about to be automated, dairy farms that the cows are trained to go into a booth and the robots just milk them, a friend of mine wife is a pharmacist they are implementing doctor prescriptions with bar codes - you put your prescription into a machine that will fetch and issue you the medicine, banks branches are closing down - just all on line, big farms in Australia now use drones to monitor the farm and have cut back on a lot of labor etc etc etc.....

A few years back I remember a large transformer caught fire and was destroyed just outside of Sydney - they said it would take up to 18months to replace as there are only two manufacturers int he world that make them -imagine a CME or nuke explosions taking out half the worlds electrical transformers - it would take years to replace while the country sites with a massive power problem basically bringing all industry to a halt. The world sits on a knife edge and failure is guaranteed.
I am also expecting war to break out all over the world very soon.

Very, very interesting i really like the part "scriptural prophecy", the rest is also amazing, on the automation side of things, making human beings redundant, sends chills up my spine. I think whatever happens in the future, and there are to many scenarious to mention, will affect everyone on this globe, economies and systems have become so integrated, if one suffers it has a knock on effect right around the globe. I've started doing a bit of research into "genetically modified foods" what i found so far aint looking good, living on a small holding, i'm planning to get off the "food grid" as well. All of the best to you and your prepping, i believe it will serve you well in the not do distant future.

Global economic systems are houses of cards linked like dominoes if one goes the rest fall in quick succession.
Earthquakes and weather patterns are ticking up - a few big earthquakes over the weekend in Chile, Philippines, and a big swarm between Alaska and Russia.

RSA and Australia are considered to have stable geology with massive continental cratons and outside of the main crustal fault zone: but both countries have had unusually earthquake activity in 2015, I am expecting a combination of natural and man made disaster by the end of 2016 - could be sooner.

Record snow fall again in Siberia wow, and histoirc linking to US - if the US has another major winter - it could in itself be a black swan event that triggers collapse esp if they put up interest rates in US in December.

A December US rate rise would see me unemployed and southern Africa devoid of investment - just about every month another country fails, Greece, Argentina, Puerto Rico - now Venezuela this last month. There are many Arab countries that are basically broke and war breaking out - African countries will default on debt soon and start falling over with hyperinflation. RSA is already in high inflation. Ok I am a false prophet of dooooooom I see disaster unfolding everywhere and the solutions gov implement just make it worse.

The company I work for started implementing redundancies this week, and at church today a friend of mine said he was made redundant this last week. Despite official statistics, weekly I hear of associates and friends that have been made redundant.
