Be sure to include shelf life on food items. One of the first things I look for in survival food, especially as there is a good chance I may not use it up before then.

I too have launched a website featuring great deals on Survival gear and Emergency Food. Please check out Pioneer Survival for more details. Most of the Wise Company Food Buckets offered have a listed shelf life of 25 years. Some of the individual Wise packages have a shelf life of 7 years.

Just ordered and tried a Wise Company meal (Noodles and Beef in savory Mushroom Gravy). I suggest only using half of the recommended water for re-hydration as mine turned out kind of soupy, but it still tasted good.

I typically use 2/3 or so the stated water amount for cook in bag meals.

Duly noted. I will definitely reduce the amount of water used next time.
