There is a bill in the Rhode Island Legislature that goes way beyond the pale on vaccine mandates.

It would require everyone eligible for a vaccine who lives in Rhode Island, works in Rhode Island, or pays personal income tax in Rhode Island to be vaccinated. It requires that they take every dose they are eligible for within 40 days of becoming eligible.
Non compliance results in a fine of $50 per month and doubling of their state income tax.
