seems to be the scourge of our modern society...here we've experienced several attacks on our banking system and they continue still..and those institutions should have the state of the art safe guards against it,but no..

if they can cripple banks this easy, what's next??
now that we again have -15 degrees C here, would hate to loose heating..

We're certainly seeing some hacking issues. We have a group here, Anonymous who are open about their purpose and work, if not their identity. Everything from what I've seen shows them to be pro-freedom and "For the people", but you never know. There's a bad apple in every bunch, and agendas can change, we all know that. Mostly, they've been talking about exposing conspiracies and abuses of power, but we'll see. They've had some bad publicity, but there have also been denials of some of the bad things they're accused of. It's no surprise to me that in a world of technology, a group like this has emerged.

When your traditional means of democracy and influence is being ignored by those in office and by those of influence, it's not shocking to think that there are people who will demand to be heard.

and who knows how many are employed by different government agencies or armed forces intelligence as so much is computer based today..

Well, e-warfare is certainly a field. These hacker groups are likely where the government gets future agents of cyber warfare from!

would imagine given the options;20 years behind bars, being someones loved one, or work for us and have a good life, easy choice

we've had some quite serious hacking here on several banks and now some news papers print that the group was a russian one..
