My wife has always wanted a Victorian dollhouse as a hobby. She is such a tightwad that she would never spend that kind of money on something that frivolous for herself.....So I bought her one. The damn thing is over 3 feet tall!!!!... Anyway she is in the clouds now....Bought it assembled... no way I was going to tackle it.View attachment 11768

Yeah. We're doing pretty good now.
The kids left this morning. Its always sad to see them go. But our grand daughter is going to stay with us for a couple of weeks. We're up in the fur shed now working on tanning some muskrat pelts that she helped me catch.

Oh wow! Would love to be there to learn how to do that!!

Awesome gift, DavidSB. I put one of those together maybe 30 yrs ago. It took along time. More fun to deal with it at the stage it's at from the photo you showed.

did she have fun helping her grandpa out? Those are some times to treasure!

She did. We're up here again tonight. Its time to scrape the salt off the hides and start fleshing. I put up a small fleshing beam just her size so she can practice.

My son got me a trail cam for Christmas. I've only had it out for a couple of days. So far I've got a couple hundred videos of magpies and ravens. But last night it got a video of a fox coming to one of my gut piles.
