Storming here. Under a tornado watch. Most of the bad weather is south of us.
Rain again. We have not had a good Fall break. Havent done much work. Son has a Best Buddies gathering to meet his Peer for this year. It's outside, but they must wear masks. I bought his shields, which are totally useless, but he gets fresh air.

Ahoy there neighbor! Came quite a blow last night but we are safe. 3.5 inches in a couple hours. 3.5 million hickory nuts in the yard for me to pick up now before we can mow next. The tornado warning was extended 3 times and the rain came down in sheets. Sirens went off twice.
Figs are splitting from too much water so trying to pick what I can and put in the dehydrator. When I have puddles on top of this giant hill you know it was quite a storm.

I’m so sick of rain here as well! My small fromt creek is a river right now but luckily isn’t doing any damage like washing out the driveway. Looks like it will end tomorrow and begin to dry out soon, yay. Saw Alabama is dealing with widespread flooding, I wish them well.

Still no rain here. Maybe tomorrow it will rain, or it could snow. Supposed be down to 20 degs by Monday.

Does anybody have a recommendation for storage bags inside a 5 gallon bucket. Have gamma lids. Just looking to maximize storage in buckets.
My wife ordered some Mylar bags off the web that fits a five gallon, I can’t think of where but shouldn’t be too hard to find . I stored all my rice and beans in Mylar with oxygen absorbers. I hate to say it but if you don’t mind shopping with the enemy you can find them on Amazon.
