Our neighbors had church today at their farm. Enjoyed the buggies coming this morning, about 30 of them, maybe 120 people. I could hear the opening songs (in Penn Dutch) while out by our turkey runs, and that was so beautiful. Communion day today, and also God is choosing a new minister for this district. Looking forward to hearing who it is.

I need to vent.
People gotta start taking care of their animals. They can’t bring them in at the last minute and expect miracles.
My DVM DACVIM (internal medicine) specialist wife is working her butt off. She is on day 9 in a row.
With her call in fee and after hours fee, she has made an extra 5k this week alone. And people will get on Yelp and complain about the high cost of animal care.
Take care of your animals. And it won’t cost you as much.
Its 8 o’clock on a Sunday night, and she is in for 2 cases. And she has to be in at 7:30 tomorrow morning.
Thanks for listening. Right now, its looking like Feb where she had 3 days off the whole month.

Its a noisy night here. Some elk are bugling on the ridge just north of the house. And at least 5 packs of coyotes are yipping and howling off in the distance.
Nice to listen to the coyotes from the comfort of home. They sound different when it's pitch black and they are within 100 yards of you, and you are walking straight towards them to get back to camp. 😧
