Canning butter

Was wondering if anyone has tried to can margarine like butter? Don't get me wrong, I love real butter and once Elsie is producing, will be very happy to make. I made butter years ago and it is definitely the best thing to eat. Until that time, I do buy the cheaper margarine, unless I find butter on sale.

Margarine scares me. I don't know what is in it so I know nothing about the ability to can it.

Eh, you can leave it unopened on the shelf forever and it's fine. I wouldn't fool with canning it.
