British Police are pretty non existent unless you live in a big city or a large urban centre or a place with many problems.
if you live in a place like where I do, you wont see a cop for many months, once every few months they do a drive by, but don't stop and don't get out of the car, 2 or 3 minutes are they are gone again, and I haven't seen a cop patrol on foot for about 20 years since I left the city.

At least they don't shoot people they are supposed to be doing a "wellness check" on.
