yup and apparently for yeast, as long as you keep adding dough, it'll multiply. Coz yeast is essentially a form of bacteria ... i think.

Of great interest! I have to looking into that and start some. We love home made bread! Great way to save money

My mother used to make sourdough bread. After kneading the dough, she pinched off a little and put it in the freezer. Then the next time she made bread, she kneaded that into the dough as a source of yeast...and pinched off another bit for the freezer.

We already plant several acres of wheat for the deer. It's pretty easy to harvest and thresh in small quantities. All I need is a way to grind it.
