Does anyone have a Henry AR-7? Been thinking about getting one for a while and just got a bonus from work. I feel like it's a useful addition to my bug out bag but would like a little more information if anyone has it.

I don’t have a Henry, but I do have an original Armalite AR-7. It’s a decent weapon for survival type situations. 7 shot magazine and it breaks down into receiver and barrel for storing in a floating butt stock.

Haven't got one yet but plan to. Seems like it would be a good addition to my trapping boat and pack basket.

Have a Henry 40 caliber. Henry makes great rifles, I'm sure any would be ok

I have owned a Charter arms AR-7 since about 1992. Traveled thousands of miles with that rifle in my backpack, sat is bars and cafes, nobody knew I carried a rifle. One of the few firearms I will never get rid of. Keep it clean, a quality firearm.

little more space >> I'll take a breakdown single/double shot 12g with rifle/pistol caliber inserts anytime over such a limited weapon - carried one of my Win Model 12s broke down on occasions ....

wouldn't be pack carrying it - take a .22cal pistol first ...
