Hello all,
I've been involved with prepping since 1973 due to my older brother, he started me reading Mel Tappens column in Guns and Ammo. I've always prepped in case of an Earthquake and I'm very lucky to live on acreage away from the city and towns. I'm looking at moving to a better state in a few years after the wife retires, Texas is looking good for our escape.

Disclaimer: I'm a Californian but in no way do I have the Kalifornia political views, I live in the Ag area with lots of Republicans that feel Kali politicians has failed Americans that believe in the Constitution.

howdy from a Texan .... and welcome to the forum and family...there's quite a few knowledgeable folks here that'll gladly tell ya what you need to know,or at least point ya in the right direction and/or give ya a good idea or 2..and by all means jump right on in with any replies you have on a topic.

My family moved to CA when I was 13, I left home at 17 and went back to TX. Live in Germany now since 1978. Pack your bags and get the hell out of CA. TX was and is the state with the least unemployment...hello and welcome here. GP

I am aware that the California countryside has a lot of conservatives. But I just don't see any hope for the future of California. Virginia conservatives are in a fight for their lives right now, and they are taking the fight to Richmond on the 20th of this month. There is still hope there, I think.
