I wanted to share something with you guys so I could get your opinions. Hopefully someone with more experience can chime in. Please read the report, should not take more than 5 mins:

In all fairness, I am not worries, I just want to be prepared and help my family. I would like to acquire a Geiger Counter but have NO IDEA what brand, or type to look fore. I actually, in the past, was looking but got side tracked with other things. I do know that the counters need to be calibrated (not an easy task and only certified people should touch them) hence why so "fragile" perse.
I am looking also at Potasium Pills ( http://www.ebay.com/itm/200916262884?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649 )
I am also currently negotiating on a vechicle, a 2000 Ford Excursion V10 4x4 which would make a beast of a bug out video..
What other equipment could I use? Any ideas?
