This is just a heads up for some. Since we slaughter our own beef and pork that is not a problem for us and honestly we don't eat salmon except salmon cakes maybe twice a year. We have milk from our cow and goats and make our own cheese and dairy items. The only nuts I get around here is pecan, but trust me I am not complaining. The other items can be easily grown.
 
I've definitely seen this with Beef and with Milk, but not really with the other products. Bread has been the same price for years (thankfully). Tomatoes are always cheap here, but then we grow them locally. Same with grapes (even a vineyard up the road), though even though I am in FL, in the stores, the grapes are from California....

Pork has actually been pretty cheap, so we've been eating a lot more of it. Chicken (not on the list) is thankfully still often on sale....
