I was just reading up on Freeze dried/Dehydrated food stuff

Where would be a good place to buy them?

I tried to access cheaperthandirt.com where I first saw affordable ceramic filters and mountain house fd food but can't seem to access the site.

WalMart has the cheapest prices I've seen on MH pouches. Of course, not as much variety there. I've gotten them there for about $2 cheaper than even online prices (and no shipping).

sigh. can't buy from walmart unless they have an online version that ships internationally.

Dehydrate your own!
Even if you dont have dehydrator you can use your household oven, the inside of a vehicle not in use or the sun. Vegetables are easy, get the freshes possible or use frozen. Once dehydrated store in mason jars, food vacuum bags or mylar. Will last up to 2 years or more depending on how you store
