trouble is the fall out, the ground in Wales and parts of the Westcountry were contaminated by rainfall from Chernobyl for years, they may still be for all I know.
I don't know what to say about that except you are not in a favorable location, but if it makes you feel any better if the SHTF,,,we are all for the most part all in the same boat,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,SCREWED

My closest nuclear target is Little Rock, but it's tertiary. The air force base there is mainly C-130 transports and their support wing.

Nice to make your acquaintance. Stone County, here. Seven miles south of Mountain View. I went to school for a year in Highland, lived in Cherokee Village.

Poughkeepsie 17 miles from Ashflats Ar. small world isn't it,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,maybe one day down the road we can meet up,,,,,

LOL. Always happy to meet and network with new people locally, more or less. E-mail me at [email protected] next time you come south a ways, and I'll buy you a cup of coffee in Mountain View.

Wattsbar and oak ridge nuclear power plants . Redstone arsinal just south of here across thr TN / BAMA state line Arnold Airforce base with one of the biggest wind tunnels for testing aircraft in theU.S is near here . Im not as concerned about a nuke attack as i use to be but its still on the table .

after looking at a map of nuclear targets no one is getting away clean every state has multiple targets damned few people will be ready and less than 10% of the population will survive a all out Nuclear War,,,,,,,,,

I didn't bother to Google, can you recommend a good map/site? I'm in Phoenix, if it matters.

the guidance systems on missiles (once emp's, blasts, winds are in effect) are so pathetic, it wont matter much where you are for a full on nuke attack. I'd try to not live close to a nuke reactor, tho. An all out attack is likely to change weather patterns by a massive amount, so current wind patterns might well mean nothing.

Distance between Helsinki and Sosnovy Bor is 232.88 km. This distance is equal to 144.7 miles, and 125.66 nautical miles, that's on Russian side
and around 90km to Lovisa nuclear plant..
