What I learned from Hurricane Irma

I have a portable AC, it comes on wheels, just put the hose out the window. Move to the garage or whatever. Just a thought. I am using it in a vintage camper because I don't want to punch a hole in the wall and the roof won't support a roof top AC.

I have one of those in the bedroom at the deer camp. The windows open horizontally, so a window unit would not work.

Brings to mind sleeping porches.

which brings to mind my young and dumb years. . . Beautiful night down at the beach cabin. Had a very nice breeze blowing off the Gulf and could see stars for miles when we were sitting up on the sun deck. . . And my bright idea, let's sleep up here tonight. Got some pillows and blankets. Woke up a couple hours later sleeping on that hard wood floor. . .
