Girl, if I lived closer i d come help you. For whatever reason some men think the house is women's work and normally don't lift a hand to help when their wife is down. I get that. Just take it easy when you get back home. Not like anything is going anywhwre. . . It can wait till you are feeling better. Take care of yourself.

My problem is the repair people who have been rescheduled 3 times, are coming today. I've been up sick since 3:45 So I'm trying to clean and disinfect a little as I can. After 6 day and no food, I'm just too damned tired. My husband is getting the meds this morning because th3 pharmacies all close at 6 on Sunday. Maybe then I'll be able to eat. BUT...... it could be a whole lot worse.

You have the hope that this is temporary. Keep that in mind to help you through.

I noticed a Craigslist for free grass cuttings, you go and rake them and take away, ALL FOR FREE! LOL. As far as my garden prep I will be pulling up plants as soon as I get the energy. The older I get the less work I want to do, that is a problem I need to work on. Work again. Work on working.

I forget to roll up all the garden hoses, so now they're frozen solid. Maybe I'll drag them out in the sun later today so they can thaw out. About every day or so I pull plants out of the garden and give to the pigs. Last week I turned the hens out. They're loving being free again, and I'm loving not having to feed them as much. I need to run electric out to the hen house so I can use a heater to keep their water from freezing. Last year I hauled hot water out every day from the cabin.

As of yesterday I have gotten a total of 19 beds raised back up and tilled. Most all the others have something planted in them still. Tomatoes, peppers, onions, herbs, limas, eggplants, okra, lettuce, Crowder, watermelon & purple hulls. I came home from work in the rain and the temps have been dropping quick. Won't be getting out of the lower 60a tomorrow and rain expected for the rest of the week. Maybe I should have added on my old hay and compost already. I know the garden beds won't be drying out again any time soon unfortunately.

Trust me, they have seen a lot worse in sure. . . You'd be surprised what service men encounter during their calls. But you are like me, id be the exact same way trying to get things at least dusted, swept, mopped and beds all made, even if they didn't have to go in those rooms.

Well, the Marx brothers, came and are never prepared. I'm surprised they don't borrow my tools. They replaced the door, ice maker, back panel, icemaker. It would have been cheaper for Samsung to have replaced the refrigerator after 3 times, but noooooo.

Oh that was them! I might have said to heck with the housework after all the crap they put you through already.

My Daughter and Son Inlaw are having trouble with Their Samsung Refrigerator too .

I watered the greenhouse today. There are still dozens of tomatoes both ripe and still green. I’ve oretty much abandoned working on them and darned if this wasn’t the best year I’ve ever had! I ate a couple small ones that were full ripe and the flavor was amazing.. I feel bad for neglecting the garden this year, but the upside is I’ve been able to save a lot of money this year at least.

Just remember to take care of yourself! Are you able to hold down broth or anything? Six days of not eating is great for the waistline but not so much for you....

Yep. We bought a fridge recently and I was looking at a Samsung until I saw the reviews. One horror story after another.
That's good to know, but a little too late for me. We just bought a $2500 Samsung refrigerator. We did buy the service agreement for it though. If they only knew where we lived they may not of sold the service agreement.

I'm glad I got the extended warranty because mine has been repaired 4 times on it alone.

Samsung has done the rest even since it's been off warranty. They basically rebuilt the refrigerator instead of replacing. Stupid. They have spent lots more on repairs than it would to replace.

Last couple days have just been pulling out the old beans to feed to cows. Then this morning I have started cutting some tomato plants way back so I can hopefully over winter them. If our winter was anything like last year, it will be pointless since we had snow three times, but you never know year to year. I did have to stop because the rains have started once again. It's bringing in a cool front bring the lows in the 50s for this next week. Least I got the water troughs and barns cleaned out already this morning so the goats are all snug in the barn.

While it was raining I finished up making and canning my pumpkin marmalade. It stopped raining a little after noon so got to go back out to finish up my trimming today. I hooked up the 8 ft trailor to the golf cart and took a couple loads out to the cows. Only got stuck once. . . If only my dog Buddy would learn to step on the gas so I could push it on thru would make life easier. Nope, he just sat there in the seat watching. . . I did save 1 load for my goats to make them happy too.
