'I'm looking for the truth': States face criticism for COVID-19 data cover-ups
the actual number of people who've died as a result of the pandemic is "almost certainly" higher than what's been counted.

Georgia officials have apologized and corrected what was described as a "processing error" that wrongly showed a downward trend in the number of new daily infections in the state, making it appear as if new infections had dropped every day for two weeks. The error was at least the third in three weeks, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported.

There was also confusion around lockdowns: In the U.K., scientists argued for weeks over the merits of closing businesses and keeping people at home — a quarrel that may have cost the country lives. And now that the outbreak is fading in Italy, there is growing debate between the country’s public health experts and doctors over whether the virus has lost strength or remains just as deadly.

To make progress, Gilead needed help from U.S. taxpayers. Lots of help. Three federal health agencies were deeply involved in remdesivir's development every step of the way, providing tens of millions of dollars of government research support. Now that big government role has set up a political showdown over pricing and access.

Despite the heavy subsidies, federal agencies have not asserted patent rights to Gilead's drug, potentially a blockbuster therapy worth billions of dollars. That means Gilead will have few constraints other than political pressure when it sets a price in coming weeks. Critics are urging the Trump administration to take a more aggressive approach.

Watching the news this morning.they pointed out how. Black's are more acceptable to the corona virus.ànd here we are with the nation wide riots.in which a fair amount of the people are black.now I'm wondering how soon the numbers will rise when it comes to the corona virus
 
True.but we have every skin color and race in those areas joining the protest.because of that,t9 me.everyone there is equally acceptable to it as long as their a part of the protest in some way or another.
