Glad you're finally getting the bull back!
Yeah. It'll be good getting him home. I've got a couple cows here on my place that belong to another rancher, they've been hanging out with my cows for a couple months now. I'll try cutting them out tomorrow and drive them down the road and point them towards their home.

Not really about prepping, but a check-in never the less

Looks like ICE is transferring my Son in-law, youngest Daughter and grand kids to the Texas border in the next couple of months. That's four we will be losing here, I know my Son has been applying for Deputy Sheriff down their so we might lose five more people here.

I found several antique oil lamps.
Be careful, those aren't made any more, I have 13 oil/petroleum lamps in all sizes, from only 4 inches tall to 16 inches. Brass, chrome and tin. Etched glass chimneys and such. My wife grew up with her aunt in Hungary when they still had no electricity and loves the smell of Petroleum when it is burning...No TV either, just radio. Here are three of the smallest ones:

Used to be that you could just go into Walmart and buy them but I hadn't seen them recently. . . . not that I shop there often. . . maybe a handful of times during the year. This being said after I just went there last week to pick up a Razor scooter for granddaughters birthday last week. I am sure I will make 1 more appearance before the year ends doing some more Christmas/mom and her husbands birthday shopping.

I have gotten several from Walmart, and the fuel too. In our store they are near the candles. I know you have said you don’t like online shopping but both Walmart.com and amazon are great for comparing products and prices. I can’t say enough for the time savings and convience of shipped directly to your door.

I may have to adjust to online shopping. . . I went into a Best Buy to try to find an updated Family Tree Maker. They ordered one for me and it turned out to be a Family Tree Heritage. . . so not what I wanted so now I have to make a special trip into town to return and hopefully get what I need/want.

My hard drive totally went down (due to age probably) and even though I had backed up my Family Tree both files were still there. The computer guy reinstalled Windows 10 but my Family Tree maker files can not be read. Honestly I think there was something on my old hard drive that was not transferred to the new hard drive. I have already had to take it back once when the kid found that he didnt install a Word whatever it was. After that, more documents opened up, but yet my family tree file didnt. @WGregMiller I could use your input.

Family tree maker went out of business for a while, then I think they got bought by someone. In the meantime I transferred all my data to another recommended product that was compatible. I think it was legacy family tree, but I will have to check to be sure if you want.

Yep, legacy family tree 9.0 by heritage according to the about. It is fairly similar. It isn’t free but it wasn’t expensive for the deluxe edition.
