Is that with iron or optics?

I have shifted almost exclusively to Soft point ammo. My bulk 223 / 556 is Wolf 62 grain SP and my 7.62 x 39 is Wolf 125 grain SP. My 6.5 Creedmoor is Sellier & Bellot 156 grain SP. The only hollow point I use is the RMR (Rocky Mountain Reloaders) 124 grain hollow point, for my 9 mm. Granted the SP does cost a bit more than the FMJ but not enough to break the bank. Watch for sales.

This little carbine will soon be Cerakote od green and in a vintage 70's era wood stock with the wood heat gaurd forearm refinished with walnut stain and Truoil .
It will look like a M14 / M1 carbine . I just got my cerakote from Midway USA . Going to " oven bake " it in the yard next to our fire pit .

I like soft points,I think they are more accurate but the match grade 168gr boat tail hollow points for 308 that PPU produces, exit wounds are huge and every organ touched is in pieces,,,,and you can never have enough ammo

Just completed reloading my first 50 cartridges of 9 mm 124 gr. hollow points. Messed up on 5 of the first rounds. Four the bullets got seated to too deep and the fifth cartridge the Factory Crimp die was not set properly adjusted (my mistake) and the bullet was damaged. I will disassemble all five cartridges but can only reuse four of the bullets. I can salvage all 5 cases. Now I just have 950 cartridges left to go. LOL This should keep me busy for a while.

I used to reload 45ACP but I got away from it,I just don't shoot enough to make it cost effective,,,,,,considering the state of things I should have kept all the reloading gear it could be that at some point it will be the only way to get fresh ammo

I have 55 grain and 62 grain ammo for my AR-15. I have an eclectic mix of different brands and kinds of ammo. It all feeds in my rifle, and--while I am a reasonably good shot at moderate distances--I'm not a sniper or sharpshooter.

I "practice hunt" with my camera, as I enjoy photography. The stalking of animals with my camera lets me have a feel for how close I can get to a given animal, and to have practice with judging distances under different conditions.

Here are a few nature pics that I took while visiting my relatives in California.

Everywhere in California looks like a postcard.

I finally figured out how to post my own photos.

Images were taken with a Nikon d3500 SLR and an 80-210 Tameron zoom lens.

How about frangible bullets, like the type that hit JFK in the head.

My AR15 really dislikes the 55 grain ammo, no matter what manufacture. I am talking 3 plus inch groups. It loves the 62 grains, even steel case Wolf, Sub-MOA. Go figure. I did enjoy the pictures Kevin. I do have a nice camera but I have a horrible photo-eye.
