I am now a little further along. The main part of the quilt and boarder are done. Just trying g to figure out the sides with the fabric I have left over. Right now cutting squares of leftover to use with every other one of dark grey fabric. This is for granddaughter's big girl bed. Main colors grey, pink, & teal. Only second quilt ever made so do t judge to hard.

My friend who recently passed had a quilting frame that hung from the ceiling. When her mom and I were sitting around the table talking she said that she had wanted me to get it cause she knew it would be used. I'm not holding my breathe. Her family has been thru so much right now with her passing, Harvey and sons home was flooded, they now have the two grandkids at their home. Seems like it just been one heartache after another for them. I already have a request for another one, but it will be for a baby blanket, so much smaller. I have learned to enjoy do them. Kinda relaxing. :)

Finally finished it up after work today. It's granddaughter's birthday gift from her Nana. She will be two in November and we recently found out that we will be getting another grand baby in April of next year. Already spreading the word, this Nana will be needing gift cards to the craft store for Christmas. The bed I have it on is a double but hers is a twin big girl bed.

Wow very impressive. Nordstrom would sell something like this for a $1,000. They would simply slap some fancy European name on it and voila.

Thanks guys! It took me hours of sewing just hope it holds up for a few years. Only my second quilt, but I will be doing more. Hopefully one day, I will get around to making one for my bed. The price of fabric is outrageous so try to catch it on sale or with coupons. If I ever did these to sell, it would be a pretty penny just cause of all the time put in, but my Sweet Pea is so worth it :).

The start of the next baby quilt. . .

They are not sewn together yet & still working on blocks. Decided to just do 9 blocks then a double inch dark grey boarder with a wider boarder of the blueish green floral. This is what they call a Gentleman's Fancy square block pattern.

Damm Danil...I'm tempted to cash in on your design and keep all the money for myself. Le Existucci Quilting..."Where Dreams Come True!"

Not my design. . . just my color scheme. Thank you. You are sweet for saying. Wanted to keep the colors basically the same since the girls will be sharing a room for awhile at least, but wanted new baby girl to have a different design than her big sister.

Thought I would share a pic of the quilt top I'm working on right now. Its what you would call a sampler quilt. This is a picture of the 65" x. 65" quilt top. I had to add on a 16" boarder all the way around, which I used leftover material. It took me about a month to piece everything together and I got to start the actual quilting g part a couple days ago. Every time I talk to Granny she ask me . . . finished that quilt yet and I have to tell her, not yet.
