I haven't seen anything on here about any prepping for children, teenagers, or adults with special needs. I.E. autism, down syndrome, etc... Anybody got anything I am sure there are people out there that could use the help.

that's a tough one..you might need different types of medicines, special food and transport, things to entertain them..

That's a tough one. My wife has an illness that we deal with as best we can, now at least. In a shtf situation, not so well. Sometimes in life you have to accept the things beyond your control. You just do all that you can to prepare, and hope for the best.

My wife has some serious medical issues, that will require some unorthodox prepping. Severe pain issues, so will need opiates. Plan is to grow poppies. Pre SHTF, illegal to actually process them, but post SHTF, no such issue.

For "special needs", those preps are going to vary wildly with the condition. You'd be surprised though, if you search, you'll likely find a prepper resource for just about any ailment.

i've got my mom to worry about in a shtf situation as well.my mom has arthritis, bursities degenerative bone structure, and high blood presure.pluse she has no cartridge left in between any 2 bones.she has had knee surgry on both knee's.and 2 wedge's in her lower spine from penched nerves.and as of september of 2011 she has type 2 diabetes..plus one med she takes can be a issue when there's no ac,like during a power outage..so i've started looking into diff herbs.in hope that at least 2 or 3 will of at least some help for her..mainly when it comes to pain..
