I was just wondering if anyone knows of a cheap place to buy bear spray? I've heard it's just like peppers pray but sprays a lot farther out. I googled it, but was suprised at 60 bucks.

After a week we didn't get enough votes to make any kind of analysis statistically significant. I'm a bit surprised though that nobody wanted to admit to carrying a 38 Special revolver. But there again, not enough votes to conclude anything.

Of course this was just a spot check. Just a snapshot of what everyone had at the time. Had it been today, I would have had to answer differently because I only had a leatherman (counts for a knife I guess). I haven't reassembled my carry rig after Saturday's IDPA match. Speaking of which, maybe I should get off my butt and remedy that...

I finally added pepper spray to my arsenal but it won't let me add to my vote. Sorry, no 38 special here. But if I had one, I would open carry it every where I went.

I voted . 9mm And knife , pepper spray . Some times .357 Mag . Often with rifle in car . Sharpened entrenching tool . All depending the situation . Sometimes nothing .

a 22 revolver..it holds 9 rounds..and like its been said..plenty rounds can be carried..and i have a lil plastic box with 22 ammo in it.and it fits nicely in one of my back pockets..

I always carry some form of lock blade pocket knife. I will be getting my conceal carry soon, so then I will carry my 9mm.
