If I try and go to "Family pics" (where path indicates picture to be) it tells me album is password protected, so looks like you are ok. I tried other options, but only shows pic I clicked on.

Thanks, man. I'm not sure how much longer I'm going to leave those pics in that album, so they'll probably be gone when I do. I'm too paranoid about the others getting out!

I can see only the public album : Camping Trips or any direct pic you linked. Any others are password-protected, so you're good.

I think one of the reasons there was a low turn out to both M&Gs was the fact that there wasn't a lot of time for planning for some folks. For those who don't run livestock, crops, or kids, timing doesn't really matter, but for those that do, we need plenty of advance warning. It would really suck to go to a meet right when your garden is really starting to produce vegetables that need processing, you come home to a bunch of rotted or overripe vegetables that are useless. When you have animals, you have to line up RELIABLE help to look after them. You don't want to come back after a week and find that no one bothered to feed or water anything for a week and you have a bunch of dead stock. Then there are jobs that make you pick all of your vacation time at the first of the year (Hubs has a job like that), so if we knew by say late December what the next years dates would be, people could be more ready and able to make it.

And I won't ride near a river bank again! I promise.

I feel you on that. Horses especially are a big anchor. You have to have someone you can trust take care of them while gone.

old_anorak, let's look at setting the dates by the end of September then. That'll give about a year to handle business...

The problem with end of September is that anyone with kids in school are not going to want to pull them out unfortunately.

i just loged into photobucket.and it's still private..but these are some great pic's thoe..i had'nt even thought of photobucket when i posted my camping pic's..so i created a album for them.now im uploading the ones that are ok to post..then i'll be posting a link to it..

Sorry no one showed up alabaster. I would've been there but too much for me this year with my injuries. I just had surgery this past am and the pain is terrible right now, so trying to work through it and take my mind of it. I would really like to go to next years NE M & G and if you or we I should say do it at that PA camp ground that would be great, or we can search for a more private place too. I can help with pistol, rifle classes and weapons safety as well as tactics and survival. ( 15 years Army, and NRA Instructor, 2 tours in Iraq, 1 contract job in Saudi Arabia, 1 contract job Kuwait ). Let me know if I can help. It will be a while before I am good to go if this surgery works!

Well I'm wondering what the dates need to be.... Spetember si bad for those with kids, I understand that. That leaves us with spring if people don't want to go in the summer.... Which will lead to short planning/lead times.

What if we do something at different times throughout the Country? I would imagine that down south in winter time isn't too bad.. Maybe I'm wrong. I just remember how nice it is in Florida during the winter. Up north in the summer time....

Suppose we just start setting up M&Gs when it looks like we have a good chance of turnout? You know, I like summer time personally and some of us have schedules that permit more time in the field than others. I'm going to try and do something at least quarterly in this area, even through winter time..

Wow! What a beautiful place!! Wish I'd have known about it cuz Nebraska wouldnt have been to far for me...depending where...Love to meet there again if/when it gets warmer! ; )
