I'm thinking about buying some land in Humboldt county area for hunting and vacationing, then possibly Homesteading. Anyone living or lived in this area before?

Hi Ranger Bob I have lived in Wells Nevada for awhile did not like the cold weather -30&-40 % so cold the propane froze! so we moved to az. been happy and warm in our cave house. But you mentioned Buying land in Nevada, If you have not found your survival Spot yet you might consider here in Az. It is a lot safer than California.
