At TS my daughter was showing a yank the contents of our rat packs, and he asked about the tube of yeast extract (a black salty spread you eat on bread or crackers). She told him it was insect repellant which had to be put on exposed skin, especially the face, to stop mosquitos carrying Ross River virus (a real disease than can be fatal). He traded her some US rat packs and unit patches for her tube and immediately put it on his face. She laughed about that for days.
