"Surviving the End" by James Jay Carafano, Ph.D.

I'd recommend speed reading it and looking for the bold headings for the good stuff, but one of his first suggestions is already something I now plan to adopt...
Making a thorough contact list for each family member, including work/school, etc. and having it PRINTED, with copies in the cars, house, etc. Seems like a no-brainer, but this is just the first of many common sense recommendations in the book.
It is a bit wordy (hence the recommendation of looking for the bold headings), but his approach is very no nonsense and practical, vs. being a survivalist.
