yeah..but they add up over time..especially when a person eats out 2-3 times a week..

i have a plastic container with a lid to it..in which i keep in the van.and that i put everything i get into it.and eventually,i'll bring it in and separate it all.salt pepper honey mustard ketchup..whatever i collect...:)

the way i see it..is we pay for it..so why not get a lil extra salt n pepper each time..i do still buy the salt pepper mustard and all at the stores when needed

When we go thru the drive and order a cheeseburger with fries, I always ask for extra ketchup. Whatever is left over, I just squeeze into the opened bottle I have in the fridge. Hunny thinks I am crazy and just smiles, laughs, and walks away shaking his head, BUT hey, it's extra and I don't let anything go to waste if I can help it. We don't get the salt and pepper packets often, but when we do, I add those into the opened ones we have here. It all does add up eventually.

I suppose these little sachets could be handy say on a camping trip, but for ordinary prepping not so much, 1KG(2.2 Lb) of Salt in a supermarket is under a £1 about 75p I think, honey is £5 a bottle for GOOD local honey in the mini market and Brown Sauce is about 50p for a squeezy bottle of it. the trouble with these sachets is they are the very basic stuff and very low quality, its catering quality at its lowest. anyway that's my 4pence worth!

The little packets are great for a BOB or GHB though.
