Not that i've seen. Most ppl there tend to not mount their guns, just their sheep if ya know what I mean.

If you have an idea of what kind of mount your interested (ie: what you want to mount it to) I could probally come up with something for you. When it comes to metal and working with it I'm pretty good. Not the best by far, but I've worked as a welder for years and currently work as a welding engineer. And I am taking basic blacksmith classes as well. I frickin LOVE metal!! :tank:

ha awsome man, trying to get together some ideas to mount a Model Russian Kalashnikov modernized machine gun. If i had my way would pick M249 SAW instead ha but yea. Either mount for a heavy gun or steady post shooting area for a light gun.

Love the SAW man, carried one while I was in the Army. Kind of heavy but oh she was the love of my life!!! Called her Stephanie after my first wife. A complete package and about as many morals.

What do you want to mount it on? A vehicle, or a stationary mount on a wall or the ground?

Vechile man- truck for a in bed mount. And right passenger swing arm mount , ive came across a few but just havent worked out with any yet man.

Here is what I would do for the in bed one.

Mount a roll bar, like the ones most people have extra lights on and reinforce it in the bed with braces welded on. For the SAW you could remove the bi-pod and fit it to an attachement that could fit into the holder on the roll bar. it would only give you about 180 degree in front of your vehicle. Or you could mount a reinforced tri-pod in the center and get 360 degrees.

For the side window you could weld and fold mount. Not sure exactly what the mount is called but its the kind that has two arms and they are above and below each other. Rig an attachment to secure your weapon. In a pinch you could use one of the mounts cops use for their bright spot lights and have a clip that fits over the forward part of the weapon that fits inside and pivots. Not a wide field of fire, but could definately get at least a 45 degree field of fire.

for the inbed mount its like that already . And also thinkin if anyway for the sideswing mount and in bed mount a small Rigid light bar on the rail if somehow that could be done. You familiar with rigid lights man?

Somewhat. I know they are pretty good and kind of pricy, but you get what you pay for and they have decent quality from what my friends tell me.

You would probally want to go with a small box light that wouldn't get in the way for the side mount. You could just mount the longer ones on the side of your truck and have plenty of light.

You might want to consider NVGs. You could charge them with a solar panel and they give pretty good vision at night without giving your position away with a butt ton of light.

Small mounts and side im doing and was going to see if somehow can find IR covers for those lights so can use them in connection with NVG night ops. But besides that , if you got time man throw some specs together wouldnt mind seein wat you could wip up man.:tank:

I'll play with the idea and see what I can come up with. I don't have a design program on my computer so I'll have to do it by hand. I need to know what kind of vehicle you have. Make, model, and year so I know what I'm working with, not to mention and mods you already made to it. Oh, and let me know what it's made out of. If it is like most newer vehicles and is fiberglass there isn't much I can do for mounting it other than maybe using super glue and duct tape.

If it's steel then I would probally use aluminum for the mount. Realtively cheap, fun to work with, pretty strong, and anti-corrosive.

Here is an interesting tid bit. You know they can make bullet-proof glass out of aluminum right? And it will stop a.50 cal round.

Chevy yea not sure think if im not wrong is either a 99 or 01 not sure, id have to double check man. And mods besides the inbed mount and all. All factory panels are off and other mods me and a friend made from square metal tubing. And i didnt really kno that one about the aluminum glass and stoppin 50.:ar15:
